PCcillin + Trend Micro Internet Security Version 11
|
I installed the above on an Win XP SP 2 machine that already had SpamPal installed. I use Outlook 2003, configured for multiple e-mail accounts.
The PCcillin component is configured to check both outgoing and incoming mail. SpamPal is configured to check several of these accounts. I have had no problems at all

SpamPal works with PCCillin 2002, but this requires extra "POP3" settings:
Normal settings (in Outlook 2002): SMTP = mypop3.server.org, UserName = myusername@my.domain.org, Advanced/incoming server (pop3) port = 110 Settings as used with PCCillin: SMTP = localhost, UserName = myusername@my.domain.org/mypop3.server.org, Advanced/incoming server (pop3) port = 110 Now, the settings to be used with PCCillin + SpamPal (listening on port 1110): myusername@my.domain.org/mypop3.server.org@localhost, Advanced/incoming server (pop3) port = 1110 Then Outlook talks with SpamPal, that talks with PCCillin, that talks with the real POP3 server...
